Allstate Saves Money for Americans by Reviewing Claims in 2011; Allstate Insurance News

The Allstate insurance company is the largest held personal lines insurer in the United States, and the second largest of all personal lines insurers in the United States. Allstate is saving Americans money by supporting intervention versus fraudulent claims. Allstate reports that it has a mission to become the best claim organization in the industry and to gain and sustain a significant competitive advantage through better strategy and better performance. Allstate has been making headlines recently due to its mission to reduce potential fraudulent claims. Allstate has requested that claims in various regions throughout the United States be reviewed for accuracy. Specifically in the New York area, a report via the National Insurance Crime Bureau reveals that “questionable” claims are on the increase in the New York area. The report expresses that the rise in questionable claims stems from an increase in the number of claims that are faked or regard exaggerated injuries. Allstate supports further investigation and believes that the fraud is causing Americans to have to pay more for their auto insurance and or home owners. New York spokesperson for Allstate, Krista Conte, stated that the fraudulent actions are carried out by persons attempting to game the auto insurance system and the victims are honest, hard working citizens. Allstate is working to protect its customers from fraud and is utilizing its more than 13,000 Allstate agencies and financial representatives in the United States and Canada to resolve discrepancies.
