The carmaker said in a statement today that it would soon be starting the production of the hybrid car Prius in Thailand. The latest move from the car giant will result in the mass production of the hybrid vehicle outside Japan. Although Toyota Motor Corporation (NYSE:TM) has not yet disclosed any info regarding the production volume in Thailand, it is expected that the whole export production will be shifted to the Thailand plant.
