Thursday’s Stocks to Watch: Electronic Arts, BMC Software

Here are a few stocks to keep on your radar: Shares of Electronic Arts (NASDAQ:
ERTS ) gained more than 5% in early Thursday trading after the company beat
analysts fiscal fourth-quarter earnings expectations late Wednesday. The
video-game maker also said profit for its current fiscal year would meet current
estimates. BMC Software (NYSE: BMC ) rose 6.3% after the company beat Wall
Streets fiscal fourth-quarter profit and revenue expectations late Wednesday.
Whole Foods (NASDAQ: WFMI ) gained 3% after the company beat analysts fiscal
second-quarter earnings estimates. News Corp. (NASDAQ: NWSA ) slipped 0.8%
after the company missed Wall Streets fiscal third-quarter earnings and revenue
expectations. Revenue fell 6% from a year earlier. Estee Lauder (NYSE: EL )
rose 1.3% after the company beat analysts fiscal third-quarter earnings and
revenue estimates.
