It was my first week of teaching when the attack occurred. I remember it like yesterday when my principal walked into my office asking if I had family in NYC. What a tragic day in U.S history and a reminder that freedom isn’t free. Today marks a triumph for the United States and I’m thankful to our military and President Obama who saw this through.
