Todays DJIA Dow Jones Industrials DJI Index, Nasdaq, S&P 500 Index; CAC 40, FTSE 100, DAX; Comcast Stock Quote CMCSA Winner Last Session

U.S. Economic Market News Today: Primary index composites in the eurozone
closed out the last session mixed and the mixed action carried over to the U.S.
session. The CAC 40 finished the last session green by .44 percent. The DAX
closed green by .44 percent and the FTSE 100 finished the last session about
break-even. Indices there were supported by the better than expected data on
overall economic growth. The data revealed a drop of .3 percent in economic
growth which was better than what most were anticipating. The grey cloud in the
eurozone regardng debt resolution action planning continues to hover however.
Primary index composites in the U.S. posted mixed through the initial half of
the U.S. session as investors were uncertain about how to respond to the above
data. Adding to the investor uncertainty last session was the cancelled meeting
which was originally intended for eurozone leaders to hash out a plan to
solidify Greek bailout funding. Instead, the group of finance ministers
scheduled a conference-call and intend on releasing post-conference statements.
Home based economic data in the U.S. garnered little attention. The Empire State
Manufacturing index rose to 19.5 which was better than expected. Greece related
worries headlined the day. Ultimately the primary indices in the U.S. closed out
red. Dow Jones Industrial Average, Nasdaq, S&P 500 Stock Market Investing News
Close Review: The Dow Jones Industrials, as well as the Nasdaq and the S&P 500,
finished the last session on the negative side of break-even for the day. The
DJI index closed lower by .76 percent, negative by 97.33, at 12,780.95. The
Nasdaq finished lower by .55 percent, negative by 16, at 2,915.83. The S&P 500
finished red by .54 percent, negative by 7.27, at 1,343.23. General market
trends are unlikely to move much until progressive action is observed in the
eurozone with Greece. Announcements were made last week regarding the bailout
fund deal, but the fine tuning had not been completed. Investors will remained
fenced and sentiment will skew negatively until the bailout funds are
solidified. Stock Share Winners Last Session: Comcast CMCSA shares surged higher
during the days session. Comcast shares finished the day higher by 4.66 percent
and posted a last trade close at 28.52. Investors were pleasantly surprised to
observe the report that Comcast beat estimates for its fourth quarter profits
and earnings. Although the day session was positively skewed for Comcast shares,
after-hours trading was trending red for CMCSA. Frank Matto
