Downloads Soar Google Inc. (NASDAQ:GOOG) said its Chrome browser users are
downloading million of apps from its popular Chrome web store per day. The
company introduced the web store in December 2010. The web store now has more
than 30,000 apps, themes and extensions from news and retail companies to music
and books. Google Inc. (NASDAQ:GOOG)'s senior product manager for Chrom Rahul
Roy-Chowdhury said, "Our aim is to continue to build on this excellent
momentum, and create a Web Store that serves the retail, social and productivity
needs of our users. As more and more retailers and developers see the growth of
the Chrome Web Store, were confident that theyll join us". Google Inc.
