Anheuser-Busch (NYSE:BUD) has decided to close its Manitowoc malt plant. The news release states there are no plans to change operations at any of Anheuser-Busch (NYSE:BUD)'s other plants. David Luckow, the plant manager at Anheuser-Busch (NYSE:BUD) said that, "Based on current market forecasts, location of raw material supply and more efficient malting processes, the company determined that current malting needs are being sufficiently met through other sources, including its malting facilities in Idaho and Minnesota." Anheuser-Busch (NYSE:BUD) shares are currently standing at 58.04.
