Top Pre-Market Gainers (RL, DEER, HERO)

Polo Ralph Lauren Corporation (NYSE:RL) surged 5.72% to $106.69 in pre market trading hours. The company said Wednesday that its fiscal second-quarter profit rose to $205.2 million, or $2.09 a share, from $177.5 million, or $1.75 a share, a year earlier. Revenue including licensing contribution in the quarter ended Oct. 2 rose 11% to $1.53 billion. It was estimated to earn an average of $1.67 a share on sales of $1.49 billion, according analysts surveyed by FactSet.. The 52-week range of the stock is $71.12-$101.87. Deer Consumer Products, Inc. (NASDAQ:DEER) added 3.98% to $13.05 during the pre market. For July-September, the company earned $9.3 million, or 28 cents a share, compared with $4.1 million, or 18 cents a share, a year ago. Revenue more than doubled to $55.3 million. Analysts on an average were expecting the company to earn 21 cents a share, on revenue of $45.7 million, according to Thomson Reuters. The company expects at least 30 percent growth in both revenue and net income in 2011. For the full year, the company forecast earnings of 87-88 cents a share and revenue of $172 million, up from its prior view of 76 cents a share and revenue of $160 million. Hercules Offshore, Inc. (NASDAQ:HERO) jumped 3.79% to $3.01 in pre market hours. Hercules Offshore, Inc. provides shallow-water drilling and marine services to the oil and natural gas exploration and production industry globally. It provides these services to national oil and gas companies, major integrated energy companies, and independent oil and natural gas operators. The 52-week range of the stock is $2.05-$5.85.
