Stocks Falling After Equity Offering (AMSC, CLNE, WPI)

American Superconductor Corporation (NASDAQ:AMSC) dropped 4.36% to $35.30. The
Company announced that its public offering of 4.6 million shares of its common
stock has priced at $35.50 per share. AMSC has granted the underwriters a 30-day
option to purchase up to an additional 690,000 shares of common stock to cover
over-allotments, if any. The stock went down more than 13% year-to-date. Volumes
are massive as already 2.19 million shares are traded- more than 2X its average
daily volume. Clean Energy Fuels Corp. (NASDAQ:CLNE) went down 1.82% to $14.23.
The company announced the pricing of its public offering of 3,000,000 shares of
its common stock at a price of $13.25 per share. Of the shares, an aggregate of
50,068 shares were purchased by certain Clean Energy executive officers at a
price of $14.48 per share (the consolidated closing bid price of Clean
Energy's common stock on the NASDAQ Global Market on November 10, 2010). The
52-week range of the stock is $11.30-$23.70. The stock went down more than 7%
year-to-date. Watson Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (NYSE:WPI) lost 3.34% to $49.75. The
company announced the underwritten public offering of 10,537,755 shares of its
common stock held by Quiver Inc. has priced at $49.75 per share. The stock went
up more than 25% year-to-date.
