Federally Funded Health Insurance Benefits for Americans with Pre Existing Medical Conditions; Health Insurance Benefit News PA; President Obama...

Health Care Coverage and Health Insurance Benefit News for Americans with
Pre-Existing Health Conditions: Pa. is making headlines as a leader in health
care for individuals in need of health coverage having a pre-existing health
condition. The management plan is termed PA Fair Care and as of the end of the
last calendar year, the pan was already helping to support almost 5,000
individuals having pre-existing health conditions with health insurance benefit
needs . Finding health insurance for individuals with pre-existing medical
conditions is difficult to do and even more difficult to afford. Administering a
benefit coverage of this sort is considered high risk in the health insurance
industry. The federal government is needed in some cases to support such
programs in order that individuals with pre-existing conditions receive
affordable health insurance. PA Fair Care is an example of a federally funded
support program. Pa representative, Joel Ario, recently reported that the Obama
administration approved the plan which would help thousands of Americans, in
this case Pennsylvanians, obtain affordable health care coverage when they
previously were denied due to pre-existing conditions. The plans coverage will
include preventative care, physician services, mental health services,
prescription medications, and diagnostic testing. All this and the premiums will
be subsidized by the federal government. The President is moving towards
reelection and this is just one of the moves his administration has made in an
attempt to garner votes. For more up-to-date news release regarding this
specific program, see www.pa.gov. Genny Germano
