min2664 Dr Hany Dabbagh from Saudi Arabian mining company Ma'aden provided insight into the growth and development of the company's mining projects at the MENA Mining Congress 2011. The Vice President of SBU Precious Metals and Exploration discussed Saudi Arabia's mineral geology and gave a review of the progress of Ma'aden's current mining program, including gold and base metals, phosphate and aluminium projects. Dr Dabbagh also stressed the importance of corporate social responsibility and offered insight into Ma’aden’s role in society, covering their support of community projects, with a focus on education, job creation and small business development.
