Todays Dow Jones Industrial Average DJIA DJI, Nasdaq IXIC Index, S&P 500 GSPC Stock Market Investing News Today Global USA

Results for Dow Jones Industrial Average, Nasdsaq, and S&P 500: The Dow Jones
Industrial Average finished the first open trading session of this abbreviated
week in the red. The Nasdaq and the S&P 500, closed out the session in the
green. All three primary index composites are attempting to finish off this
week, and the year overall, on positive ground. It is possible for all three to
finish off the year green, but the final outcomes will be influenced by trading
action this week. Dow Jones Industrial Average: The Dow Jones Industrial Average
closed out the first trading session of this week lower by 2.65 points to close
red at 12,291.35. Previous close for the Dow Jones Industrial Average was
12,294. The DJIA is positive according to YTD analysis at this point. The Dow
Jones Industrial Average gave up a 34 point gain last session to close out the
last session in negative territory. Nasdaq Index: The Nasdaq closed out the last
trading session higher by .25 percent at 2,625.20. Previous close for the IXIC
was 2,625.20. The Nasdaq is still below break-even for the YTD change. S&P 500
Index: The S&P 500 closed out the last session positive by .01 at 1,265.43.
Previous close for the GSPC was 1,265.33. The index is just holding positive
ground for the year to date change. Stock Futures Today: Stock futures for the
DJIA, Nasdaq, and S&P 500 were posting green across the board prior to opening
bell this morning. Stocks in the U.S. were positioned for the stronger open this
morning. Halfway through the trading session for the European markets, the
primary indicators there were green. This action could positively influence the
