Home Depot (NYSE:HD) Gives City Of Hope Grant Home Depot (NYSE:HD) announced that it contributed a three-year, $535,000 grant to City of Hope. City of Hope is one of the few cancer centers in the country to offer temporary housing for patients and their families. The grant, which was made through The Home Depot (NYSE:HD) Foundation, will help the City of Hope to remodel the main facilities office of Hope Village, a housing complex located on the cancer center's campus. Kelly Caffarelli, president of The Home Depot Foundation, said that, "City of Hope delivers advanced medicine in a caring and compassionate environment, and The Home Depot (NYSE:HD) Foundation is honored to be able to support their mission. We are pleased to once again help City of Hope provide that nurturing home environment that allows patients and their caregivers to stay close to the hospital, yet decompress in a setting that is closer to the comforts of home". This is the third grant from The Home Depot (NYSE:HD) Foundation, which has awarded City of Hope nearly $3 million in grants for the past nine years. Home Depot Inc.
