Dow Drops 300, Gold Bounces on Greek Default Rumors
The broader markets extended their losses in mid-day trading on Friday, with the Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJIA) falling as much as 314.39 points, or 2.8%, to 10,981.42. While equities tumbled, gold futures pared their losses.
