Hear about more global mining projects at Asia’s mining conference

Africa emerges in a big way at the Global Mining Projects Investors Forum
hosted by the Asia Mining Congress. Last week, we featured five mining companies
who will be in Singapore to speak about their up and coming mining projects.
This week, we highlight five other mining companies with Africa and
international portfolios. Blackthorn Resources showcases its copper, zinc and

Continental Coal is an emerging mid-tier South African gold producer with a coal
portfolio in South Africa. Hear updates on their off-take agreement with EDF
Trading for its export thermal coal production and recent joint development
agreement with KORES. Gobi Coal & Energy is an emerging coking coal producer in
Mongolia. Hear about their three key open cut coal development projects in South
Western Mongolia with approximately 322 million tonnes of JORC resources. Gobi
is expected to launch an IPO in 2012. Harmony Gold is one of the world's top
10 largest gold mining company. Hear about their projects in South Africa and
Papau New Guinea Vantage Goldfields is a developing gold miner with extensive
portfolio in the Barberton Goldfield of South Africa. Hear about this largest
tenement area in the goldfield which is the 2 nd largest gold mining region in
