Paying for the Starbucks latte might be easier than digging around to find the Starbucks gift card that you received for Christmas. Now available for your iPhone, is a Starbucks mobile app which will essentially allow the user to pay for their Starbucks order with their phone. This new app for the iPhone may revolutionize the way the public pays for a multitude of daily goods. The app for Starbucks can be downloaded to your iPhone and once this is accomplished, one has to enter in their Starbucks card number. Taking this action will allow your iPhone to display a barcode that can be scanned at any local Starbucks checkout counter around the United States. The app is functional and is intended to increase efficiency while purchasing your Starbucks items. One can load the card with funds by transferring money from their private account onto their Starbucks card account. The card can be reloaded at any time. Starbucks began testing the use of this technology in 2009 in the West Coast area of the United States. It has now expended this action to all of it’s store throughout the United States.
