British Airways Chairman Martin Broughton has said in a meeting, "the aviation industry is moving towards consolidation and we need to be sure we are playing an active role." SABMiller plc (LON:SAB) SABMiller plc (LON:SAB) has strongly rejected the claims made by charity organization ActionAid. A description published by ActionAid on Monday claimed that the company avoids millions of pounds of tax in some developing countries by steering earnings through tax havens. SABMiller (LON:SAB) alleged in a report that the company “does not engage in aggressive tax planning in any part of its operations and the report includes a number of flawed assumptions. SABMiller companies pay a significant level of tax.”   BP plc (NYSE:BP) BP plc (LON:BP) has planned to modify gas emissions unit at Cherry Point refinery. BP plc (LON:BP) has presented plans to the state regulators that aim to modify a low-NOx burner, which facilitates to diminish the emissions of nitrogen oxide during refinery processes, on a hydrocracker treater at its Cherry Point refinery in Washington. The plant has the capability to process around 230,000 barrels a day of crude from Middle East, the Alaska North Slope, and West Africa.
