CommScope, Inc. (NYSE:CTV) soared 29.50% to $29.95 on hefty volume after the company confirmed that it is in discussions with The Carlyle Group regarding a take-over deal. The deal will allow The Carlyle Group, a private equity firm to acquire all of the outstanding shares of CommScope for $31.50 a share in cash. CommScope, Inc.
